A BEACON OF HOPE, GRATITUDE, PATIENCE AND PERSEVERANCE
Before I started the Fertile Hope Yoga program, my journey was stress and anxiety driven. It became more balanced and less pressured after I started the program. My biggest breakthrough was how to deal with stress in other aspects of my life. Erin was amazing. A voice of reason and a beacon of hope teaching us gratitude, patience and perseverance.
I FEEL LIKE A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT PERSON FROM WHEN I JOINED FHY
The Fertile Hope Yoga program transformed me into a more positive and hopeful person. It allowed me to be more grateful and appreciative for everything, good and bad, in my life. I honestly feel like a completely different person from when I joined.
I definitely needed support and an outlet to release emotions but didn’t know where to go. I realized that the universe is in control of everything and being patient and persistent will pay off. Each class made me more hopeful, thankful and determined to reach my goal.
I now know that we also need to be thankful the hard times in our lives because they build character and form our life story. I’ve also learned to try new things when times get tough such as meditating, essential oils and acupuncture to help calm myself.
I WAS HOOKED AFTER THE FIRST CLASS
Before Fertile Hope Yoga, I felt lonely, lots of despair, and severely broken as a woman. After the first class, I was hooked. I had a tribe of women who gave me hope, challenged my limiting beliefs, and acknowledged my body was capable. A group of women who got me and only needed to give me a smile to acknowledge all will be well. They had my back and I had theirs.
FERTILE HOPE YOGA IS A SAFE SPACE
In the beginning my life was all doctor appointments and shots! After finding Fertile Hope Yoga, I had a set of tools to help me at anytime. Plus, I developed friendships with other women and we all support each other as parents now!
Fertile Hope Yoga is a safe space to share my experiences with women who had a similar journey and together we learn how to treat our bodies right.
I LOVE HAVING FRIENDS WHO APPRECIATE THE MIRACLE OF BEING A PARENT
At the age of 39, I decided that having a child was a life experience I was not willing to miss out on even though I did not have a partner. I had my initial consultation and medical tests but I was slow to start because of the what I felt was the “uniqueness” of my journey: “single mom by choice.”
When I started yoga, I became motivated. I met women who wanted to help me become a mom because we all did. Even though I was still kind of unique, I was no longer alone.
Fertile Hope Yoga has given me a new level of appreciation, of gratitude, for all of my blessings. I continue to practice yoga, breathing, meditation, and expressing gratitude. I have a network of friends who truly appreciate the miracle of becoming a parent.
FERTILE HOPE YOGA IS SOMETHING ANYONE CAN DO, NO MATTER YOUR PHYSICAL ABILITIES
Yoga for fertility is a great way to help your mind and body relax throughout the stressful process of fertility treatments. It’s something anyone can do, no matter your physical abilities as it can be adapted to your own level! I was surprised by how much I enjoyed yoga as I went into it very inexperienced and unsure that it was something I would like!
Fertile Hope Yoga provided an awesome support group throughout an otherwise lonely process. It also helped me to stay focused on the end goal and helped reduce frustrations throughout the process by allowing me to relax and release negative thoughts.
